The second edition of Estée Lauder X Nykaa, Beauty&You incubation programme was launched on June 9, 2023, at a roundtable conference — with Shana Randhava, Senior Vice President, Business Development, New Incubation Ventures at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc — at St. Regis, Mumbai.
Beauty&You is an incubation programme for India-focused beauty brands in skincare, haircare, fragrance, and colour cosmetics. It assists brands in identifying brand goals, accomplishing scale ambitions, and curating product portfolios that appeal to a new generation of Indian consumers. The programme, besides mentorship, also offers award winners financial assistance with a prize pool of up to Rs. four crores (or $500,000).
“Through the program, we gained access to masterclasses led by global experts, providing us with an insider view of building iconic and sustainable beauty brands,” said Divya Malpani, founder of Skinvest and 2022 GROW Prize winner. “Winning the award also brought us tremendous brand awareness, both nationally and internationally, with the added advantage of exposure on Estée Lauder and Nykaa platforms,” she adds.
Beauty&You 2023 edition wants to focus on experiential beauty and has also introduced two additional awards in the 2023 programme to increase the initiative’s scope. Thus, opening the applications to scientists, labs, photographers, creative minds, and filmmakers apart from just founders. The jury includes some of the biggest names in the industry, like Katrina Kaif, Bhumi Pednekar, Gaurav Gupta, Anaita Shroff Adajania, Samrath Bedi, and many more.
