Nitpicking just one brand to review from a plethora of brands is not an easy task. It requires significant time and actually trying out the product to know how it performs in the long run. So when we received the products from the brand called Murshmallow, my first impression—even without reading the product name—was that it looked happiness bottled.
The orange packaging gave a cute, compact, and premium vibe. After doing a bit of research and a patch test, I tried both the products personally: Holy Grail Serum Concentrate & Holy Grail Serum Supreme. Before diving into the details of how effective the serums are, let me tell you a little bit about the brand and what makes Murshmallow a good option for people like me who are a bit mindful about trying new brands and looking for good vegan, sustainable yet effective brands.

Established in 2022 by Atreyee Kar, Murshmallow is a natural, organic, vegan, and cruelty-free, ultra-clean brand that sources the best ingredients from around the world. The packaging is cute, appealing and you can also reuse, refill, or recycle the empty bottles and jars. All the products have ingredients that are unique, potent, and very well-researched.
To give optimal results, all the formulas are supercharged with higher concentrations of multiple active ingredients like Ascorbic Acid, Plant-derived Squalane, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Pomegranate Extract, Camellia Sinensis, Ferulic Acid, Resveratrol, Swiss apple stem cells, etc.

This vitamin C skincare serum has one of the cutest packaging that I have come across. It has a smooth texture and feels lightweight on the skin. It instantly hydrates, provides antioxidant protection, and plumps the skin, minimizing any dark spots or pigmentation with consistent use. It’s free of any fragrances and toxins. It is also alcohol-free and non-comedogenic, and suitable for all skin types. This vitamin C serum doesn’t irritate the skin and can be used in your AM & PM routine both, but make sure to apply sunscreen in the morning after using it.
Tip: You can also use this skincare serum under your makeup to give your skin an instant glow.
2. Holy Grail Serum Supreme
This is both a skincare serum and a moisturiser and sits very well under your makeup. It hydrates, smoothens the skin, and provides an instant glow that lasts for hours. It also brightens the complexion, making your skin look plump and firm in just 15 minutes. It gets absorbed seamlessly into the skin and has a very lightweight texture. This one product provides five key benefits: brightening, firming, refining, antioxidant protection, and hydration. It is powered by 14+ highly potent active ingredients and 8 botanical extracts.
