Glow Hour: What if a consultation could delight — and a waiting room felt like a living room?

A one-hour ritual of radiance, care, and the discovery of intentional homegrown beauty brands.

Glow Hour was conceived as a gentle pause — one hour designed to help you feel better in your skin and calmer in your head.

Held on Sankranti, a time traditionally associated with renewal and seasonal reset, this edition invited guests to shed what felt heavy and step into clarity, warmth, and ease.

In a world where beauty often feels rushed or transactional, Glow Hour offers a more human alternative — a personalised experience where expert skin care, emotional wellbeing, and intentional beauty come together slowly and thoughtfully.

For this hour, a clinic transforms. The waiting room softens into the comfort of a living room. Appointments are intentionally overlapped so conversations unfold naturally and unfamiliar faces begin to feel familiar. Guests are welcomed with hydrating drinks and nourishing food from The Village Shop, known for its slow-cooked, gluten-free offerings and a menu rich in superfoods. Every detail is curated to support inside-out glow.

At the centre of Glow Hour is Dr. Yash Mehta, ENT & Facial Plastic Surgeon and Co-Founder of ACSC, a destination for expert-led skin care treatments. His approach to skin is holistic and intuitive, rooted in a deep understanding of the nervous system, stress, and healing as essential components of skin health.

“Skin reflects far more than products or procedures. It reflects how regulated the body feels. When care is personalised and the system is calm, the skin responds naturally — and sustainably.”
— Dr. Yash Mehta

Under Dr. Mehta’s guidance, guests experience non-invasive radiance treatments customised to their needs in that moment. The focus is not on fixing, but on understanding — empowering guests to make informed, confident choices for their skin.

Lavenderoom brings the emotional, experiential, and cultural layer to Glow Hour. Rooted in its pillars — Indulge, Discover, Connect — Lavenderoom curates how the experience is felt, not just how it functions.

“Glow Hour came from a desire to make beauty feel safe, intentional, and human again. I wanted people to feel held — to learn about their skin, connect with others, and leave feeling lighter, not overwhelmed. Glow isn’t something you chase. It’s something you allow.”
Aparna Gupta, Founder, Lavenderoom

Discover: Intentional Indian Beauty
Discovery is a core part of Glow Hour — introducing guests to Indian beauty brands built with purpose and integrity.

For the Sankranti Edition, guests discovered Global Beauty Secrets by Aishwarya Swara Nir, a brand rooted in ancient wisdom, sensory rituals, and intentional self-care — encouraging beauty as a daily practice rather than a quick fix.

Each guest also received Hold Me Tight Bath Salts, co-created by Aparna and Sharmeen, Founder of Chennai Soap Co. For Aparna, bath salts are the most accessible energy-cleansing ritual — a way to release the day, reset the nervous system, and return to yourself.
Blended with lavender, rose, and ylang-ylang, and crafted using sea salt, Himalayan salt, and Epsom salt, Hold Me Tight is not positioned as a luxury, but as a ritual.
A hug in a jar. Hence the name.

For Lavenderoom Insiders, Glow Hour becomes more than an appointment. While guests may arrive as strangers, they are connected through a shared love for storytelling, beauty, and intentional living.

Glow Hour is not a transaction.
It is a ritual — where science meets softness, expertise meets empathy, and glow becomes something you carry long after the hour ends.
