#Mitti @aromazeia

Obsessing over this tiny vial of attar, which evokes the intoxicating scent of rain on parched earth. Actually, earth or mud don’t capture the feel of mitti. In Mumbai, it rains copiously, but I miss the scent of gili mitti (wet earth). My childhood was spent in smaller towns but in bigger gardens, and this little bottle takes me back in time. Sometime earlier, when I posted a mini-review on Instagram, I mentioned that it’s not something I will wear but rather something I will dab on some cotton and keep on my desk. That time, I carried it in my bag and sniffed it every five minutes. I now take my words back, as I love wearing it on my skin as well. Just recently, I applied it on my wrist, behind the ears, and it felt divine. It’s not something I will wear on a Friday night out, but it’s definitely something I will reach for to calm my nerves. As this one talks to my soul.
